This residence unfolds partially beneath the natural terrain, blending seamlessly into its topography to create a discreet, grounded architectural presence. The house’s design is guided by a balance between protection and openness — with its subterranean portions providing thermal comfort and privacy, while its open, light-filled areas maintain a direct dialogue with the landscape.

At the heart of the project lies a central patio, a vital spatial and conceptual nucleus that organizes the interior layout. This patio acts as a breathing core — bringing light, air, and greenery into the interior while visually and physically connecting the social and private areas of the home. The patio’s presence transforms circulation spaces into lived moments, encouraging fluid movement and visual transparency between zones.

The private wing, located on the opposite side of the courtyard, benefits from greater privacy without losing its connection with nature. Each room connects with the private outdoors, creating individual moments of intimacy and visual continuity.
The result is a home that is simultaneously protected and expansive—a composition where the landscape is not a mere backdrop, but an essential part of daily life.
